+She spends plenty of time aiding Cloud and company with chasing the Black Robed test subjects. And bamboozling Shinra along the way. She even gets to rediscover her love for piano thanks to some wacky sidequests! They cross grasslands, coastal areas, deserts, go to the Gold Saucer. (And I'm opting to keep it vague on who had that Gold Saucer date night.)
+Tifa has a harsh moment in Gongaga, when Cloud undergoes a severe mental breakdown, attacks her, and knocks her into the mako pool and then she slips into the Lifestream. Tifa undergoes quite a few visions…
+…And tragically she deals with a lot of doubt on what she saw and experienced in Cosmo Canyon, the center of planetology. While Tifa is eventually given some validation and that there’s mysteries no one can explain, it’s still a harsh experience. Also, space alien ghosts happen.
+She undergoes Nibelheim Gaslighting Hell when she finds out her destroyed hometown has been rebuilt and staffed by Shinra. But she starts to patch things up with Cloud! And finds out her childhood cat survived and has kittens!
+After this, the party returns to the Gold Saucer in a bid to stay one step ahead of the baddies.And burn a ton of time on minigames. This is Tifa’s departure point. Before the Gold Saucer date night.
Personality:
Tifa is a soft spoken young woman, who counters that gentle demeanor with a strong sense of justice. And a readiness to throw down to protect others.
Tifa is emotionally shy, though not out of a sense of coldness or being aloof. In fact, she’s a very empathetic individual. Rather, it’s so Tifa doesn’t find herself overwhelmed and can carefully weigh the situations she finds herself in. She’s gone through a chunk of pain and trauma, but does her best not to let it overwhelm her or leave her to melancholy. Still, her past (as both a victim, and a rebel fighter) casts a long shadow over her; guilt and regret are both constant companions for Tifa, much as she might try to mask it with a calm front.
She can also be a bit of a firecracker when push comes to shove, or someone gets her properly mad. She’s not shy with using physical force to solve problems, as she’s learned that sometimes that’s the only way through a problem.
She also can’t help but be a little mischievous and playful from time to time, usually when caught up in the cheery moods of other people. Mostly because that sensitivity to other’s emotions, and because Tifa needs a break from grief and adventure.
Motivation wise, Tifa has a strong moral compass to help guide her actions, and a resilient spirit. She’s proved to herself time and again that she can withstand pain and trauma, and soldier through it. All of this is coupled with a desire to help. It’s hard, if not impossible, for her to sit back and watch other people hurt. This helps to offset her indecisive and hesitant nature.
Due to Tifa’s doubts about herself, she also has a desire to push herself and see if she can become better; as a fighter, or as a person… Though unfortunately, she has a lot of baggage in regards to bettering herself.

She knows that she’s reserved, a bit of a people pleaser, but it’s hard for her to break out of that pattern; similarly she’s also a creature of habit. If she wasn’t constantly getting pulled in adventure, she’d be satisfied honing her martial arts and running a bar.
She also doesn’t want to experience more loss, and this drives her to be a protecter and a care-giver… But it can also drive Tifa to be overly cautious. She can quickly turn hesitant if she doesn’t have all the information she needs. And sometimes, this makes Tifa adverse to confrontation if it results in hurting her friends.
Most of all, Tifa cares about others more than she cares about herself. She puts the feelings of people she’s close to ahead of her own, tends to their needs first, and as a consequence has a difficult time voicing what she wants.
Tifa’s serene and caring front can be fragile; she’s done her best to not be a hateful or vengeful person, as she finds those emotions too painful to carry for long. But even with that mindset, she can still lash out when she’s pushed hard enough.
Being confronted with loss and reminders of that loss is the surest way to break her calm, and her reserved nature. Tifa also doesn’t have patience for people abusing their power or exploiting people; that’s an easy way to make her opt for aggression.

She’s going to try and put others ahead of herself where she can, because that means not having to deal with her fears.
So really, she’s going to approach her troubles the same way she always has: focusing on other people first, doing her best to stay composed, and trying not show just how upset she is about everything. (And failing.) While also knowing she can punch her way out of a really bad situation. (And often succeeding.)
Powers/Abilities:
Power wise, Tifa has the following:
1. An orb of ice magic materia that lets Tifa cast Blizzard spells.
2. Unbridled strength, Tifa’s signature ability which lets her stack more and more power or attacks to unload.
3. Star Shower, a weapon ability where she goes super zippy and is able to land many punches.
Skill wise, Tifa also has:
Martial arts training. She can throw punches, kicks, go hand to hand with all sorts of enemies, and is capable of impressive acrobatic and athletic feats.
Cooking and bartending skills. She can make a great cocktail, and some good pub style dishes.
Piano; she has some training as a musician, and still has a knack for playing the piano and understanding music!
Inventory: Leather gloves that double as a weapon for her, one active materia orb, and an inactive one in the form of a Restore materia.
Game Plans: The girl is dealing with a small scale identity crisis. Not as major as Cloud, but she has a reason to doubt her memories, and has been dealing with people not having a lot of faith in her claims. Might as well get yanked across dimensions while she’s feeling uncertain, and come to grips with not even having control of her own body.
Monster Choice:
1. Gargoyle: I love this one because of how it ties into Tifa’s protective nature and brings that to the forefront. Plus some eerie potential for Makonoid resemblance, which would really mess with her head.
2. Cerberus: Similar to the above! Protecting people (or places) as well as the fact that Tifa sadly has an association with death, doom, and loss.
3. Zoanthrope (Werewolf) I just really like the idea of kung-fu werewolves.
I genuinely cannot decide which I like best, would appreciate if someone could roll some dice and pick for me.
Vehicle Choice: Pick your vehicle and please choose one quality for it.
The Shinra Hauler SA-37 an old clunker of a truck. It has no top speed to speak of, but is Tough.
